If this is your first visit to Bangkok, this tour is a must. You will get a taste of the Buddhist faith, regal splendor, and Thai tradition. Although this is no longer the royal residence, it is still used by the members of the royal family on special occasions and is the primary symbol of the kingdom.
Key attractions you will visit around the Grand Palace include:
- Wat Phra Kaew or Temple of the Emerald Buddha
- The Royal Pantheon, built in 1855
- Three beautiful halls: Coronation Throne, Royal Reception, and Royal Funeral
You will be picked up from your hotel then taken directly to the Royal Grand Palace. Your private tour guide will show you around, starting with the Emerald Buddha Temple, then the Grand Palace. This will take from one to one and a half hours. Back at your private car, you will be served cool water and towel to refresh. You will then be driven around the Government area before dropping you back at your hotel or other destination (upon request) in the city center.
Includes: Private car/van, tour guide, admission fees, cool water and towel served in car/van.
