Travel Tip for the Elephant Experience in Chiang Mai 🐘
When preparing for your day with the elephants, here are some essential recommendations to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience:
- Footwear: Wear good walking or hiking shoes, or tennis shoes. No flip-flops—the terrain can get muddy and slippery.
- Bathing Gear: Bring a swimsuit or wear it from your hotel, as it’s ideal for the mud and water activities with the elephants.
You’ll be able to jump in quickly when needed! - Change of Clothes: Pack a fresh set of clothes and a towel for after the activities, along with spare underwear if needed.
- Rain & Sun Protection: A lightweight rain jacket can be useful in case of rain. Don’t forget bug spray, sunscreen, and a hat for sun protection.
- With these essentials, you’ll be prepared for a safe and enjoyable adventure alongside the gentle giants!
